BOOKING

  • Do you make beats or offer production services? Can you find studio musicians that I can collaborate with?
    Yes! Our studio is equipped with a mix of in-house producers as well as a diverse network of studio musicians and producers with whom we collaborate regularly. We can accommodate any type of instrument or musician request for your project.
  • Do you offer remote services or consultations?
    We work with clients globally and provide live online remote collaboration services such as recording and mixing in real-time, as well as client-unattended studio services for production, mixing, and mastering. We offer customized remote mixing package deals to fit every budget. For online remote recordings and mixes, we highly recommend a wired internet connection with at least 10 MB per second upload/download speed to ensure optimal performance.
  • Do you work on anything besides music?
    We proudly offer a wide range of audio-focused services including podcasting, audiobooks, film/tv post-production, and audio event/live-sound services.
  • What kind of music do you typically work on?
    We take pride in our diverse musical skills as audio engineers, having worked on a variety of genres including R&B, hip-hop, rock, jazz, country, folk, dance, pop, electronic/dub, orchestral, opera, mariachi, Afro-punk and more. Check out our portfolio for samples of our work!
  • What are your hours?
    We are open 7 days a week. Sessions are typically booked between 10 am - 10 pm. However, we accommodate our artists and can arrange sessions outside of our regular hours.
  • What is your deposit policy?
    To secure your session, we require a deposit that is equal to the value of one studio hour, to be paid 72 hours prior to the session. After receiving the deposit, we will send you a booking confirmation. For larger projects like multi-song projects or studio lockouts, we require a deposit that is equal to 50% of the total value of studio time or the full amount.
  • Do you offer discounts?
    We encourage all our clients to stay updated on exclusive promotions and deals throughout the year by following us on social media and joining our mailing list. We also host giveaway contests, so be sure to stay connected to take advantage of these opportunities! If you have specific budget needs or are interested in bulk deals or studio day rates, please feel free to contact us. We're more than happy to discuss options that work for you.

  • Can I tour the studio first?
    Of course. Contact us to schedule a free studio tour and consultation, no strings attached.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
    To cancel, postpone or reschedule, clients must do so before 24 hours before the deposit due date. Please note that deposits are non-refundable in the case of last-minute cancellations or no-shows
  • What are your rates?
    We don't like to let a budget stop us from working with artists. Reach out and we can negotiate a flat rate for whole projects.
  • Do you accept cash?
    We accept cash payments, but we strongly encourage our clients to pay digitally. At the end of your session, we will send you a PayPal invoice, which you can conveniently pay with your credit card or debit card.
  • Do you offer same day bookings?
    Unfortunately during this time we require at least 48 hours in advance to book a studio session.
  • Is the Steinway regularly tuned?
    The Steinway classical piano is regularly tuned for sessions, based on the requests of other clients. However, due to regular use, we cannot guarantee that the piano will remain perfectly in tune throughout your session. If you would like the piano to be tuned during your session, we are happy to do so for an additional cost of $175
  • Do I own the rights to my music after the work is completed?
    Prolific Sound Solutions does not own the rights to any works created or edited with clients, and will not take credit for any art you create.
  • What happens to my files after work is completed?
    We maintain completed client files for archival purposes only, and although we strive to archive every session, we cannot guarantee storage of your files. It is ultimately the responsibility of the client to safely store their work. We delete client files upon request or for privacy concerns.
  • Can you make a radio or performance version of my song?
    We can perform various services such as file transfers, radio edits, performance mixes, vocal stems, and instrumentals at the client's request. Please note that an hourly rate applies to these services.
  • Can I bring friends to my session?
    Absolutely, feel free to bring as much love and support as you need! However, please keep in mind that having a large number of guests may cause disruptions to your focus and creativity during your session.
  • Is there a piano or midi keyboard to use?
    Great news! We have access to a Steinway classical piano, as well as a variety of MIDI keyboards and controllers such as the Roland RD-700 digital stage piano, Minimoog Model D, and Akai MPK 225.
