The First Annual Music City Songwriters Festival (MCSF) was all about enhancing the live music scene in San Francisco and supporting local talent. This event was hosted by Music City Entertainment, a non-profit organization that connects musicians and performing artists with opportunities in the Bay Area. MCSF was a truly unique and uplifting event featuring some of the best rock and folk musicians across the Bay Area. There were three different live music performance stages that completely shut down the intersection on Polk Street, with multiple artists performing throughout the day. Attendees were able to immerse themselves in the sounds of a diverse group of musicians, while also connecting with the local community through vendor booths on the street.
Each stage was equipped with top-of-the-line sound equipment, including JBL speakers, two monitor speakers, a Mackie mixer, XLR cables, DI boxes, drum mics, and SM58 microphones. The sound capabilities of the festival were superior, with sound-reinforcement and amplification for all stages, and two independent monitor mixes for the performers. This allowed for a high-quality listening experience for attendees, and ensured that the performers could hear themselves clearly on stage.

Many of the performers rallied the crowd, expressing their sense of community for the city of San Francisco and the importance of keeping its arts and culture thriving.
